slamabad: The acting president of country Mamoon Hussain while
performing pilgrimage this year got the blessed opportunity to head the prayers
in the ground of Mina, in Makkah, sources have learnt. Mamnoon had
spent three days and three nights at the ground of Mina, where has was
accompanied by the governing officials, consulate members of 6 Islamic
countries while other Muslims from various other countries had also been
there.
he president headed all the prayers during the stay at the ambassadors’ enclosure. One of the Haji on return from pilgrimage told upon the media men that Mamnoon Hussain had bore the pilgrimage expenses on his own. During stay in Mina, he was offered to head the prayers. The melodious recitation by the President had mesmerized the people and thus he was asked to lead all the prayers.
Mamnoon Hussain was given special protocol during stay in Hijaz Muqaddas on the commandment of Shah Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz. However, Hussain performed the Islamic rituals with simplicity, in accordance to the Islamic teachings.
On the occasion, Mamoon held separated meetings and talk with all the governing high officials. While his meeting with the royal king, proved to be fruitful in the aspect that the king had accepted the invitation of visiting Pakistan on say of the Pakistani president.
The talks have also resulted in expression of confidence by the Islamic countries official to vote Pakistani ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Naeem Khan in the OIC held meeting. They have assured to play positive role in strengthening ties with Pakistan and foster relations.
It is pertinent here to mention that PML-N elected ambassador has been nominated by Pakistan to serve as Secretary General of the Islamic Organization.
